Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, said Ebrahim Raisi’s government had agreed that $6 billion from Iran’s released assets would be spent only on purchasing humanitarian goods. He added that the purchase of certain essential goods from American companies has been happening for years and is not a new development.

Araqchi also said that Iran’s state-run TV network has not aired any of his important interviews.
