A U.S. official told reporters that Iranians, after two days of fighting in the beginning of this week, contacted the Trump administration and wanted the negotiations to continue to resolve this dispute. The official said: “They told us: ‘We made a mistake. We committed an error. Let’s continue the conversation.’”
