A group of Social Security pensioners held protest gatherings in the cities of Shush and Ahvaz on Sunday, 28 Tir, and called for action on their demands.

The protesters said that the correct implementation of the proportionalization of salaries plan, an increase in benefits, payment of arrears for the first two months of the year, the establishment of survivors’ benefits, the implementation of Article 54 of the Social Security Law on free treatment, the removal of supplementary insurance, the implementation of Article 89, and the fair implementation of Article 69 for all pensioners and employees of this organization were among their main demands.
