A few days after a drone attack on Saudi Arabia’s “East-West” oil pipeline that halted operations at the facility, media outlets have obtained clearer images of what happened after the attack.

On Sunday, Geoff Brumfiel, a science reporter for the U.S. network NPR, published images with high resolution made available by the space imaging company “Vantor Tech” and wrote: “Today Vantor Tech released high-resolution satellite images of the damage inflicted on the East–West pipeline pumping station in Al Maseba.”

Reuters has also published these images and wrote: “The images taken in 2025 and on September 13 (22 Shahrivar) this year show buildings and pipeline infrastructure that have been severely damaged following the Thursday, September 10 attack.”

Saudi Arabia said these drone attacks were carried out from inside Iraq’s territory.
