❌ Yahya Fast, from Yemen’s Houthis (Ansar Allah), announced that they have established three main deterrence principles against Saudi Arabia:

“Blockade in response to blockade,” targeting Saudi military sites wherever they are deployed, and responding to violations of Yemen’s territory and airspace.

From July 20 to August 19, the Houthis say they targeted eight Saudi oil tankers—five in the Red Sea and three in the Gulf of Aden and the Arabian Sea—while forcing 48 other ships to return.

They also report nine operations against targets in Yanbu, Najran, Jizan, Abha, and eastern Saudi Arabia in response to attacks on Sana’a airport, the Hodeidah port, and reported airspace violations.

Fourteen other operations targeted Saudi military deployments, equipment, and military transport ships. The Houthis say these attacks resulted in hundreds killed and injured, the destruction of equipment and warehouses, the sinking or burning of two military landing ships, and the destruction of more than 10 military boats.

The group warned that any further escalation by Saudi Arabia would be met with a “comprehensive response,” while demanding an end to the blockade, payment of salaries, and the withdrawal of foreign forces from Yemen.
