Citing data from the Statistical Center, ILNA reported that point-to-point inflation in Mordad was 89 percent and inflation for food and beverages was more than 127 percent.

He added that a rise in the price of gasoline could also spread to the prices of other goods and services, while wages and pensions have not changed in proportion to the increase in costs.
