The UK Maritime Trade Operations Organization said a vessel in the waters of Oman caught fire.

Based on the agency’s warning, reports of the incident were received on Sunday night by military authorities, and the cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed. The agency advised ships to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.

The site of the incident was announced as the northernmost point of the Musandam Peninsula in Oman and at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz.
