🔺UAE limits activities of branches of Iran’s Bank Melli

◾The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates has banned branches of Iran’s Bank Melli in the country from carrying out any financial transactions with Iran; a move made in response to announced violations related to anti–money laundering regulations, financing of terrorism, and proliferation of weapons, and at the same time as the United States increases economic pressure on the Islamic Republic.
