U.S. Southern Command has released more images from this operation, showing the entry of U.S. Marines into a floating refueling station; a vessel that is said to have been used in international waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean by the Ecuadorian criminal gang “Los Choneros.”

The Marines, members of Marine Expeditionary Unit 24, boarded the vessel with a fast rigid-hulled inflatable boat of the U.S. Navy and with air support from an UH-1Y Venom helicopter, removed its occupants, and then destroyed the vessel.
