U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen told Haaretz that Israeli forces should be held accountable for about 500 war crimes that have been identified by the U.S. government in Gaza. He said that much of the world is aware of these crimes and that, since Israel’s track record in calculating its forces is poor, he doubts that Israeli investigations, including the probe related to the killing of Hind Rajab, will lead to real justice.
