〰 U.S. CENTCOM: U.S. Marines from the Eleventh Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th Marine Expeditionary Unit) carried out inspection and verification operations in the Arabian Sea on July 16 on the oil tanker M/T Wen Yao.

CENTCOM said that so far, U.S. forces have:

- Diverted 3 commercial vessels that intended to violate the maritime blockade against Iran. - Stopped 1 vessel from continuing its voyage due to non-compliance with orders. - Inspected 1 vessel to ensure the full implementation of the U.S. maritime blockade against Iran.
