The media office of Prince Reza Pahlavi, by posting a video of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests and the Iranian people’s national uprising in Dey 1404, wrote: “None of the struggles of the past are disconnected from today. The struggle is flowing in the veins of this land, and this steadfastness will continue until the return of Iran.”

The message further states: “This is the voice of the fighters, always and still in the square—the voice of the survivors of the streets, from the heart of Iran. Four years after the government-linked killing of Mahsa Amini, they renew their vow by paying tribute to her name and in memory of all those who gave their lives on the path to freedom, a vow that has extended from the uprisings of the past to the revolution of Lion and Sun.”
