🔶 Telegraph: Iran sends spy migrants to Britain
The Telegraph reported that Iran sends suspects linked to its intelligence agencies to Britain via the English Channel and in the guise of migrants on small boats. According to the report, some individuals with ties to Tehran’s intelligence institutions were identified and stopped by British authorities while attempting to enter Britain via the River Thames and the English Channel.
The Telegraph, citing smugglers active across continental Europe, wrote that the Iranian government has facilitated the passage of some migrants living in Calais to Britain and, in return, after they settle in this country, expects “service” from them.
The report also said that networks—according to Tehran officials—linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have played a role in transferring people affiliated with the Iranian government from the Middle East to Europe and then to Britain.
