SyriaTV reported four airstrikes on the runway of Abu al-Zuhur airbase in the eastern suburbs of Idlib, and Syrian media said the strikes were carried out by Israeli fighter jets.

The Abu al-Zuhur base is one of the main air force bases of Syria, with a fleet that includes two older Su-22s, several L-39s, and several worn-out helicopters.
