👨🚀 Sergey Bovoitsyef, a Russian athlete, set a world record for a high-altitude jump from the upper atmosphere from a hot air balloon. This athlete jumped from an altitude of 11,551 meters in the Altai range and recorded a speed of more than 500 kilometers per hour.
It is said that commercial airliners typically fly at an altitude of 10 to 12 kilometers. Bovoitsyef was at the threshold of entering the stratosphere, where the air is extremely thin and temperatures are very low.
