September 11 reminds us of a bitter tragedy that took the lives of thousands of innocent people. 25 years ago, young people and the people of Iran, in a courageous act, expressed their sympathy with the families of the victims by lighting candles in the streets of Tehran and firmly condemned Islamic terrorism and extremism.

The people of Iran were the first to warn the world about the dangers of this destructive ideology.

The bloody crackdowns inside Iran over the years, including the crime and massacre of the best sons of the homeland on 18 and 19 Dey, as well as the executions and torture of prisoners in detention, were the continuation of the same destructive and inhuman ideology that has targeted human dignity for years.

Today, in honoring the memory of the victims of September 11, we once again remind that the Iranian nation has always stood alongside the victims of violence and seeks a world free of terror and extremism—whose heart will be ended only by overthrowing the rotten remnants of the tyrannical regime and its lackeys, and whose freedom will bring peace and security to the world.
