Scott Bessent, U.S. Treasury Secretary, said the Islamic Republic is now under full sanctions and is facing “economic death.”

He added that Washington intends to choke the Islamic Republic economically and emphasized that America’s allies in the Persian Gulf and Europe also support this policy.
