Rouhollah Rahimpour, journalist and political analyst, referring to Donald Trump’s remarks about ending the war after the U.S. midterm elections, said that these comments do not necessarily mean a peace agreement and are more of a “political and security deadline.”

He added that Trump believes that continuing pressure on the Islamic Republic could lead to a more favorable agreement for the United States.
