Reza Arab, a political analyst, with reference to Prince Reza Pahlavi’s meeting with opposition leaders, members of the shadow cabinet, and a number of Australian representatives and senators, and emphasizing his point about the Iranian people’s right to determine their own destiny, said that this meeting shows some lawmakers in Australia’s attention to the conditions after the Islamic Republic and the opportunities for cooperation with Iran during that period.

He added that Prince Reza Pahlavi has defined his role as “a bridge in the transition period” toward a national and modern government, and that he considers his task to be defending principles such as territorial integrity, separation of religion from the state, equality of citizens before the law, and choosing the political system of the future.
