Politico: The Trump administration has increased U.S. intelligence activities in Cuba; an action described as part of a broader effort to pressure the Cuban communist government to carry out major reforms or even change the government.

Officials say the increase in U.S. intelligence presence in Cuba could be used for a range of different purposes; from gathering intelligence to preparing for a possible military action.

However, no decision has been made yet to carry out a military operation.
