🔻On the third day of the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya, Mortazâ Némati won a gold medal in karate. Also, Iran’s women’s kata team won a silver medal. Fatemeh Saeidabadi and Ali Asghar Asiabari won silver medals.

🔹Sogand Sinkai advanced to the semi-finals in the sanda section of wushu.

🔹Hangameh Hadiani, the first Iranian woman gymnast to take part in international competitions after the 1979 Revolution, finished thirteenth at the end of the preliminary competitions for the vault at the Nagoya Asian Games, with an average score of 12.366.

🔹Also, Iran’s women’s kabaddi team beat Bangladesh in their second match.
