On the fourth anniversary of the state killing of Jina Mahsa Amini, Amnesty International announced that the Islamic Republic committed “crimes against humanity” during the protests, in a detailed report.

Mortaza Kazemian, a member of the Iran International editorial board, said that the report, in addition to documenting the killings and violations of human rights during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising, has also documented the systematic structure of repression in the Islamic Republic and the role of senior military and security officials.
