🎥 On Friday, the Sixth of Shahrivar this year, the families of Khavaran went to Khavaran as they do every year on the anniversary of the massacre of political prisoners in the summer of 67, but once again, the gates of Khavaran remained closed to them. In recent years, the Islamic Republic has prevented the entry of families of those seeking justice to Khavaran, meaning the mass graves of thousands of political prisoners. What is the importance of the steadfastness of families in seeking justice and in preserving Khavaran—the location of this crime? And what achievements does seeking justice have for society and for the future of Iran?
In this regard, we spoke with “Mihan Roosta,” a human rights activist, and with families seeking justice from Khavaran. This interview was fully broadcast on the TV channel “IranWire” on Saturday, the 7th of Shahrivar 1405. You can watch and listen to the complete version on the IranWire YouTube channel.
