🔺Oil and gold rose as tensions intensified

▪ Oil and gold prices rose on Wednesday as geopolitical tensions intensified, and Asian stock markets moved higher with caution. Markets are also watching for the release of U.S. inflation data.

▪ U.S. oil rose by 89 hundredths of a percent to reach $83.94, and Brent increased by 78 hundredths of a percent to $89.60. Both indexes closed more than $1 higher on Tuesday and recorded their highest level since August 9.

▪ Spot gold rose by 46 hundredths of a percent to reach $4,387 per ounce.
