Naftali Bennett, former prime minister of Israel and Netanyahu’s successor candidate, said in a video interview about the Iranian government: “This regime is rotten; like a tree that is rotten from within and will ultimately fall.”

Bennett said that this “rotten tree” can be struck in different ways, and emphasized that he did not mean only military actions.
