Mostafa Ma‘ini Arani, representative of Kashan in the Majlis, said: “Unveiling and immodesty have become a deep wound on the body of society, and all these abnormalities in the streets hurt the hearts of every self-respecting man and woman. I ask the officials and those in charge to allow the blood of the martyrs not to be trampled underfoot and to stop the spread of this problem.”

This Majlis member added: “Silence in the face of this trend means the collapse of the sanctity of the family and of moral values.”

Arani asked Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf to “communicate the Hijab and Chastity law” and emphasized that “if there is any expediency-minded approach, it must be carried out elsewhere.”
