📍Morse Report: Report
The U.S. Navy has secretly opened a new shipping route on the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz.
According to this report, the U.S. Navy, by carrying out dredging operations, has prepared a route—previously unused—with a width of about 488 meters and a natural depth of 28 meters on the Omani side of the Strait of Hormuz. Morse Report claims that, due to the position of the Musandam peninsula and the curvature of the land, ships passing through this route are taken out of the direct line of sight of the forces of the Islamic Republic regime.
If the claim is confirmed, it could make it possible for oil tankers to transit at a greater distance from the regime’s positions, and “use up” the Strait of Hormuz card.
