Mohsen Rezaei, who is referred to as Mojtaba Khamenei’s military adviser, said in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s state broadcaster on the evening of Monday, 12 Mordad 1405, that the Iranian government will in no way allow the opening of the second corridor in the Strait of Hormuz.

He also said: “If ships and military forces are brought to the Strait of Hormuz, we will target them.”

The remarks by this IRGC commander were made while hours earlier, Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said he expected the Strait of Hormuz to be fully opened by tomorrow.
