Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, head of parliament and chief negotiator with the United States, says that after the killing of a senior Hezbollah commander in an Israeli attack on the south of Beirut, talks with the United States were halted.

According to Iranian media, Mr. Ghalibaf said: “In the last attack they carried out on Dahiya, when the intelligence chief of Hezbollah, along with his family, was martyred, right there we stopped everything. We said that tonight, we will hit you this way and that way, and if the Zionist regime also responds, then we will strike the whole region.”
