Masoud Pezeshkian, head of the government of the Islamic Republic, rang the start bell for the 1405–1406 academic year at a school in Tehran’s District 11.

He told the students: “Do you know that you are a gem? Do you know that my name is President and that I have come here from a regular working-class employee family?”
