▪ Until just a few weeks ago, and after the signing of the “Islamabad memorandum of understanding” between the United States and the Islamic Republic, both officials of the Iranian government and Hezbollah Lebanon insisted that the Lebanon matter and the end of the war in this country were part of an agreement between the Islamic Republic and the United States.
