Kuwait’s army headquarters said its air defenses are confronting a new wave of drone attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Based on this statement, published by Kuwait’s official news agency, any sounds of explosions that are heard are due to the air defense systems’ response to these attacks.
The army headquarters asked the public to follow the security and safety guidelines issued by the relevant authorities.
This is the second statement by Kuwait’s army headquarters on Monday.
Today, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed in a statement that it targeted an early warning radar system and a Q-9 drone hangar at the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait; a claim that has not been confirmed.
