Kazem Qaribabadi, deputy foreign minister of the Islamic Republic, on Thursday, the second of Mehr, in response to the remarks of Mark Rutte, the NATO Secretary-General, said: “The NATO Secretary-General’s admission of carrying out five thousand sorties from European bases in support of the United States’ military attack on Iran showed that Europe was part of the infrastructure of this attack.”

Rutte had earlier said that, in total, between four and five thousand sorties of American aircraft from European bases were carried out in support of the operation “Guilt of Wrath,” and that using these bases to carry out the United States’ operation was “vital and important.”

Qaribabadi said: “Governments that provided their territory to the United States cannot shirk responsibility. This complicity will not go unanswered.”
