🔻ISP reported that Ange Postecoglou, Al Nassr’s coach, got into a debate with a journalist who criticized Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance after a 4-0 defeat against Al Ain: “The responsibility is on me, you understand? But you shouldn’t talk like this about someone who still remains an example for everyone. When you speak about people who have built such a professional career through countless sacrifices so that they can keep playing, you have to be careful with what you say.”

🔹When Postecoglou was told that on Tuesday’s loss Ronaldo “did nothing,” he replied: “Apparently, you’ve watched a different match.”

🔹He said: “Cristiano has scored three goals so far. He had limited time to prepare. This isn’t about the players. The players give everything they’ve got. They are high-level players and have an incredible character.”

🔹Al Nassr, the champion of the Saudi Pro League, was defeated 4-0 by UAE’s Al Ain in the AFC Champions League Elite; it was Ronaldo’s heaviest defeat since his time in Saudi Arabia.
