🔶 IRGC says four ships were halted in the Strait of Hormuz
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had stopped four ships—which, according to the IRGC, with the support of the U.S. Army, intended to pass through the Strait of Hormuz—in a joint missile and drone operation.
In a statement broadcast on Iranian state television, the IRGC claimed that the four “violators” were stopped in the Strait of Hormuz in recent hours, but it did not provide further details about the ships’ identities or their fate.
At the same time, CENTCOM, the U.S. Army’s Central Command, rejected the IRGC claim that two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz exploded due to hitting mines, and wrote on the social media platform X that the claim is «incorrect, like many other IRGC claims.»
