🔻Iranian parliament member: The Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened without Iran’s will

🔻Ibrahim Azizi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran’s parliament, said: “The Strait of Hormuz will not be opened without the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and this is completely evident.”

He said: “The Americans, in pursuit of war with Iran, have run 500 miles [away]” and “are carrying out wicked actions because they cannot open the lock of the Strait of Hormuz.”

According to the parliamentary representative, “the Islamic Republic of Iran shows the Americans the power to validate a threat.”

In recent days, the United States has carried out several attacks on southern areas of Iran, announcing that the aim is to neutralize Iran’s capability for mine-laying in the Strait of Hormuz and for attacks on ships. Iran, in turn, has attacked U.S. bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and the UAE in reciprocal attacks.
