🔶 Iran’s Army Announces Attack on U.S. Bases

Media close to the government, quoting the public relations office of the Iranian Army, reported that the forces of the Islamic Republic, in a new round of drone attacks known as the “Operation Saeqqeh,” targeted U.S. military bases in Jordan and Bahrain in the early hours of Wednesday, 31 Tir (22 July).

According to this statement, the Iranian Army drones targeted “accommodation and welfare buildings” and an “equipment warehouse” of U.S. forces at the Al-Zarq base in Jordan. It is also claimed that Arash kamikaze drones targeted “equipment stores and sheds” and “hangars for maintaining and repairing heavy aircraft” of the U.S. at the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain.

Fars News Agency, citing some alleged sources, said that columns of smoke were observed in the area of King Hussein Airport in Jordan.

Meanwhile, the Jordanian Armed Forces announced that this country’s air defense systems identified six missiles fired from Iranian territory. According to the Jordanian army, four of the intercepting missiles were tracked and destroyed, and the other two missiles crashed in two remote, uninhabited areas.
