Images sent to Independent Persian on Sunday, 11 Mordad, show the continued temporary flow of water in the Zayandeh River in Isfahan. The blue flow, amid these hot days of Mordad and at the same time as news full of tensions between Iran and the United States, has breathed new life into the body of the half-world. However, Khalil Dadkhah, Deputy for Protection and Utilization at the Isfahan Regional Water Company, in a meeting of the provincial working group on adapting to water scarcity, pointed out that the current storage of the Zayandeh River dam is 449 million cubic meters, and emphasized that this figure represents a 48% decrease compared with the long-term average.
