Images of dancing and celebration by the women’s football players of Khatoon Bom after the team’s qualification for the group stage of the Asian Women’s Champions League have been shared on social media and by some Iranian media outlets. Khatoon Bom on Sunday, 1 Shahrivar 1405, in its third and final match in the qualifying stage of the 2027–2026 Asian Women’s Champions League, faced Al-Ittihad of Jordan at the Central Stadium of Hissar in Tajikistan and won 3–1. The representative from Iran conceded the opening goal in the 10th minute, but “Sara Deedar” scored at 32nd and 76th minutes, and “Fatemeh Sheban” scored in the 71st minute, delivering Khatoon’s three goals. Before this, Khatoon had beaten “ZSKA Dushanbe” 3–0 and had drawn 1–1 against Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia. Under “Marzieh Jafari,” the team finished with two wins and one draw, accumulating seven points, and qualified for the group stage of the Asian Women’s Champions League as the top team of Group E. The group stage of these competitions will be held from 10 to 16 Aban 1405.
