Hossein Mehdi conditions the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz on the United States’ full acceptance of the Islamic Republic’s conditions and the end of Washington’s involvement in regional negotiations.

Mehdi, the spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said in an interview with Tasnim News Agency in Bandar Abbas on Saturday, 17 Mordad 1405: “Whenever the United States accepts Iran’s conditions, the Strait of Hormuz will certainly be reopened.”
