Hossein-Ali Shahriari, head of the Majlis Health and Treatment Commission, told Iran Watchdog: “The fact that they repay our claims in the form of food and medicine is an additional wrongdoing that Trump commits. We must decide for our country’s financial resources, not that he tells us how to spend our money.”

Shahriari continued: “The Islamic Republic and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy will not allow the creation of any route in the Strait of Hormuz. And even if any route is built, the Islamic Republic will govern the Strait of Hormuz. Therefore, whatever they want to do, these efforts are futile.”

He added: “The nuclear issue is not something that the Islamic Republic would give up its right to. The Islamic Republic, for sure, and all the people of Iran, the martyred Imam, and our leader, in no way allow us to give up enrichment, which is our unquestionable right.”
