Hossain Taeb, the head of the Basij Organization, said in the course of a speech in Mashhad: “The enemy has not carried out its commitments. They were supposed to pay our financial resources, but they didn’t. They were supposed to recognize Iran’s management of the Strait of Hormuz, but they didn’t accept. They were supposed to stop the threats, but the threats have continued.”
Taeb added: “The Islamic Republic will make its decision not based on promises, but on the other side’s actual actions. Our message is clear: every commitment must be carried out, and every agreement must, in practice, lead to securing the people’s rights.”
He further said: “The enemy cannot simultaneously ignore its commitments, threaten, and expect the Islamic Republic to give up its rights.”
