Hadi Ahmadi, head of public relations of the Iranian Pharmacists’ Association, said that with the elimination of preferential currency and the increase in the exchange rate, the cost of supplying pharmaceutical raw materials has become about five times.

He added that the prices of Iranian medicines have risen by about 150 percent since the beginning of the year, Iranian medicines 400 to 500 percent, and supplements by about 300 to 400 percent.
