🔺Goldman Sachs: Iran’s ability to influence the global oil market is limited
▪Goldman Sachs, the American multinational financial services and banking giant, says the flow of oil from the Strait of Hormuz has reached two-thirds of the pre–Middle East war level. The assessment by analysts at this financial institution estimates that seven to eight million barrels of oil pass through the Strait of Hormuz every day.
▪The increasing volume of oil transfers from the region to global markets has reduced oil prices; an issue that has limited the impact of the Islamic Republic’s efforts to influence global markets through disruptions to the Strait of Hormuz.
▪Before disruptions to the Strait of Hormuz, 20 million barrels of oil and oil products from the countries of the region were passing through this waterway each day, two million barrels of which were Iran’s oil and oil products.
