Ghasem Roonebakhsh, the MP for Qom, said: “For countering the American maritime blockade, the necessary preparations have been made and the Islamic Republic is ready to deal with these conditions.”

Roonebakhsh added: “The American maritime blockade can be answered with military and defensive actions. With the necessary measures, this blockade will be broken so that Iranian ships can maintain their transit routes.”
