Foreign Ministry spokesperson:

A final decision has not yet been made regarding the president’s trip to New York to take part in the United Nations General Assembly.

As you are aware, each year the Islamic Republic of Iran’s delegation participates in the General Assembly at the level of the president.

This event is the UN’s most important annual meeting, and we have always used this opportunity to set out our positions.

This year as well, we intend to take advantage of this opportunity. Of course, the matter depends on conditions and circumstances, and God willing, information will be provided in this regard in the coming weeks.
