He added that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is the first stage of the negotiations, and then the two sides will discuss an agreement aimed at what he called the “de-nuclearization of Iran.”

Trump once again stressed: “We are very firm on this; Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.”

The U.S. president also, while referring to ongoing talks with the Islamic Republic, said that these negotiations are “Iran’s last opportunity to sign a suitable agreement.”
