Donald Trump at the White House, in response to a question about the possibility of talks with the Islamic Republic, said he may at some point negotiate with Tehran, but he considers the current situation not appropriate and does not see any need for immediate talks.

At the same time, Axios, citing two U.S. officials, reported that the U.S. Army in the past few weeks has been creating a shipping corridor in the south of the Strait of Hormuz, transferring about 10 million barrels of oil per day from this strategic waterway to the global market.
