❌ CNN for the first time obtained media access to an Ukrainian Patriot launcher that has been idle in a cornfield near Kyiv, with all 16 of its tubes empty.

The system has not fired in about 10 weeks.

Its chief engineer says: “Ballistic missiles fly over your head and you can’t do anything with them, while behind you there are ordinary people.”

He attributed the global shortage of interceptor missiles to Iran’s war: “We were very shocked by the number of missiles they launched—those same missiles that we could have used against Russian ballistic missiles.”
