Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command’s headquarters (CENTCOM), visited the aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” on the eve of its return to the United States following a long combat mission. CENTCOM announced that Cooper on Saturday, 24 Mordad 1405, while on board the USS Abraham Lincoln, praised the carrier’s crew performance. He said that among the 11 active U.S. Navy aircraft carriers, the Abraham Lincoln currently has one of the lowest rates of issues related to mental health. The visit took place as reports had been published about poor living conditions and mental health problems of some of the crew of the Abraham Lincoln after an approximately nine-month deployment without a stop in ports.
